Valentine’s Day Card Donation
This February, the YP’s are donating Valentine’s Day cards to a senior living facility in the Houston area. This event is open to YP’s and the main chapter. The company with the most cards donated will be promoted in the Chapter 8 YP emails, webpage and LinkedIn through the month of March and the individual with the most cards will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
Please coordinate any drop-offs with a YP committee member or have your cards sent to the following address before 2/7:

Card Guidelines:

Cards can be purchased or hand-made
-
Address your cards generically rather than to any specific individual.

Write your messages in legible large print.

Do not include personal information including your last name, address email, or location.

Do not include glitter, confetti, or any embellishments that are not securely attached to the card.

Do not include food, candy, or other care package items with your cards.
-
Include kind and uplifting messages, poems and drawings in your cards.

Avoid any suggestion that the recipient’s situation needs improvement such as “Feel Better” or “Cheer Up”
